Our rabbits are raised on our farm to around 12-15 weeks of age and get access to grass, vegetables, grain, and sun. We butcher on site and freeze the meat the same day to guarantee freshness. Rabbits raised for meat are typically more tender than wild rabbit. Rabbit meat can be substituted in most recipes for chicken. Domesticated rabbit meat also has fewer calories than chicken and has less cholesterol than any other commonly consumed meats, like beef, pork, or turkey!
Rabbits typically weigh in around 2-4 lbs.
